Our Impact
Human Shield was created to do more than document a moment in history. We believe film has the power to deepen understanding, spark meaningful conversations, and inspire action.
Every day, clinic escorts stand outside reproductive healthcare facilities, walking patients through crowds of protesters to the clinic door. Their work is essential, yet it often goes unseen. By bringing audiences into their lives, Human Shield shines a light on the compassion, courage, and resilience of the volunteers working on the front lines of abortion access.
Through partnerships with reproductive justice organizations, educators, healthcare providers, and community leaders, we hope the film will strengthen existing movements while inspiring new audiences to get involved.
